Leadership Roles

I firmly believe in purpose-driven actions. How fortunate we are to leave our mark on the world through our everyday endeavors.

Below, I’ve outlined some of my leadership roles and community involvements.

President

Net Impact RBS Graduate Chapter

  • Led the NET IMPACT RBS student board to develop marketing tactics, student engagement, outreach to corporate partnerships, and innovative activities to educate the MBA cohort on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Represented RBS at the Regenerative Economy Events Series, a series of workshops to learn about the innovation of environmentally sustainable business practices

  • Re-established the Graduate Chapter being the first President of NET IMPACT since the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Collaborated with Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation on the Inclusive Impact Summit

  • Collaboration with the NYU Stern Graduate Chapter to explore community resources, plan events to engage the MBA population, and tap into corporate sponsors

Net Impact profoundly highlighted the significance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for me. Through this experience, I discovered powerful tools like MIT’s EN-ROADS Simulator, which illuminates the intersection of business practices, government policies, and community impacts.

These insights have deepened my understanding of how integrated efforts can drive sustainable and responsible growth.

Vice President

Rutgers Women in Business MBA

  • Facilitated Networking Events for the MBA cohort to provide women a pathway to engage with other professional women

  • Hosted informational sessions regarding opportunities for women in corporate environments such as internship opportunities and educational workshops

  • Participated/Hosted the Prudential Mentoring Circle to link women in the MBA program to Senior Prudential members

RWIB connected me with a network of ambitious women dedicated to pursuing their goals with authenticity and kindness. This community provided a supportive environment where I could be in touch with my ethical values while striving for high professional achievement. It reinforced the power of genuine connections in driving success and personal growth.

President

Parent Advisory Council,

The Queen City Academy

  • Developed and Hosted fundraisers throughout the year to provide funding for student activities

  • Maintained accounting statements for the organization

  • Develop and Host community engagement events: Carnival, Book fair, evening gala, to promote collaboration between all stakeholders

  • Recruited members to join the PAC board, by educating them on the process, requirements, and mission of the committee

  • Review and discuss ongoing school initiatives with the School Executive Board

Motivated by a pressing need to track thousands of school dollars, I created my first accounting statement as PAC President. Fast forward to my MBA program years later, I found that my financial statements and balance sheets were remarkably accurate, even including a separate cash flow statement!

During my tenure as PAC President, I eagerly tackled challenges such as on-the-spot decision-making, meticulous organization, event planning, and flawless execution. Furthermore, I made it a priority to pass down this valuable knowledge to my successors, ensuring a seamless transition (spreadsheets included).
